Of course, you could simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the breath-taking beauty of the surrounding countryside. |

Saturday :
A day of culture, food and wine...
An escorted day out enjoying some local culture followed by an ‘al fresco’ lunch sampling a selection of the best food and wine the region has to offer. The morning is spent in the pretty medieval town of Bevagna with time to sightsee, do a bit of shopping or just relax in the square with a cappuccino! After lunch, we take you to a top quality vineyard for a tour and wine tasting. Lunch, wine tasting and transport included.

Sunday :
A Typical Italian Sunday...
A relaxed morning visit to the nearby town of Norcia, considered to be the ‘the salami capital of Italy’. An incredible array of speciality food shops offers you a bewildering choice of cured meats, salami, cheeses and truffle products to taste or buy. A great opportunity to stroll and to see how the locals spend their Sunday morning! We join up with the photography group for lunch on the terrace of one of the excellent local restaurants. Then we do what the locals do – take a siesta! Transport free. Lunch is not included. |

Monday :
A Walk in the Park...
A short guided circular walk (about 3hrs starting from Il Collaccio) around the beautiful surrounding countryside and the neighbouring villages. Stunning scenery and an abundance of wild flowers along the way are constant features of this easy paced walk. We return to Il Collaccio in time for lunch with the rest of the group. Not a difficult walk but a reasonable level of fitness is required.

You can also join Wendy Noton for short nature walks in and around the grounds of Il Collaccio to enjoy and identify the many wild flowers and orchids that grow there. Other recommended independent activities include walking, cycling and bird watching. Price: Free |
