FREE - f11 Members/Canon Day at Kimmeridge Bay, 11 November 2015 - FULLY BOOKED
Dusk at Kimmeridge Bay (on the Jurassic Coastline), Dorset, England. Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 20 sec. f/16 24mm.
We thought you’d like to know about a free day we and Canon (UK) are laying on exclusively for f11 Members on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast next month.
Join us at 2pm until sunset on Wednesday 11 November at the evocative location of Kimmeridge Bay for a great opportunity for f11 Members, who are also Canon users, to try out some of their latest cameras and lenses such as the EOS 5DS and 5DS R, and the new EF 11-24mm f4 L, EF 17-35mm f4 L, EF 24-70mm f2.8 L II, 70-200mm f2.8 L IS II, EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L IS II and TS-E lenses. Rob Cook from Canon (UK) will be on hand to talk to you about the gear while I’ll be there to help you to get the most shooting there and then as dusk settles over the Bay.
This event is free for f11 Members only - yet another perk! To ensure we give quality input to all who attend, we are limiting the numbers to just 15 on a first come, first served basis. Please do act quickly to ensure your place, by registering your attendance here. Please also ensure you have adequate outdoor clothing for a November day on the coast, rain or shine, a decent tripod and of course memory cards. The meeting point will be in the car park at Kimmeridge Bay from 2pm.
To all our f11 Members who either are not Canon users, live too far away or for whom this event is not convenient, we hope to lay on other events in the future which will cater for your needs. Alternatively we have our Chasing the Light Road Show at Chequer Mead, East Grinstead, West Sussex coming up on November 24, where you can join us for an evening of photographic inspiration and world travel. Tickets are available here. Canon will also be there with a similar range of equipment for you to handle and discuss with them.
I hope we’ll see you there at Kimmeridge Bay, or at East Grinstead, or both!
